Uppliva Sauna & Steam is an urban Nordic spa dedicated to health & wellness (www.uppliva.ca). We offer our guests the opportunity to experience the benefits of a Nordic Hot-Cold-Rest Circuit - warming up in our sauna or aromatherapy steam room, cooling off in our plunge pool and under refreshing rain showers, and resting fireside - all in the heart of Hintonburg.

Massage Therapy services, Holistic Facials, and Wildcrafted Spa Treatments are offered to enhance the spa experience. We are committed to exceeding the expectations of our spa guests while also creating community & environmental benefits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Spa Attendant to join our Wellness Team! They possess a warm, friendly personality with a passion for health and wellness. They must also be client-focused, attentive & adaptable and have excellent communication skills.

Available 20 hours/week: Saturday and Sunday (daytime) and Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Communicate to Sauna & Steam Circuit guests spa etiquette and health & safety information for an enjoyable spa experience.
Provide new guest tours
Listen to the needs of spa guests and respond to their requests
Prepare and serve guests spa treatments and beverages from Uppliva’s Spa Treatment Bar
Help the spa run smoothly throughout the day by helping with laundry
Maintain pool chemistry and record data
Maintain cleanliness of the Sauna & Steam Circuit area
Have thorough knowledge of Uppliva’s wildcrafted spa products, spa services and seasonal promotions
Offer spa treatment and service recommendations to spa guests

Skills & Requirements:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
A calm, friendly and warm demeanour
Ability to multitask, well-organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Positive team player
Previous customer service/hospitality experience is required
Passion for health & wellness
